In LessonUp, you can use a timer during a quiz question. The timer limits the time students have to answer a question, and automatically closes the question when the time is over.

The timer for quiz questions can be found by clicking the button with the clock symbol.

Next you can set the length of the timer. You can choose between multiple options.

The timer can be set and adjusted separately for each quiz question. This, of course, depends entirely on the difficulty of the question. Usually, for a question where both the question and the answer have to be read, a timer set at a minimum of 30 seconds is comfortable for the students.

Good to know: the timer is currently only available for quiz questions, and not yet for the other interactive components in LessonUp.
