In some lessons it is important that students can speak freely. You can make open question responses anonymous in LessonUp. You do this by unchecking 'Show names' in the editing screen (editor).

When students now enter an answer on their device, a question mark will appear instead of their name.

Good to know: the names of the students can be seen in the reports. This is not possible with quiz questions.
