Saving a lesson from the library

Make use of material already created by other teachers.

Updated over a year ago

In the LessonUp lesson library, you can find lessons from other teachers and from channels on the platform. You can give these lessons directly, or save them in your own lesson environment. You can then personalize the lesson and use it in your lessons. In this article, we explain step by step how you can give a lesson from the LessonUp lesson library and save it in your own LessonUp environment.

Step 1

Click on 'search' to go to the lesson library. Here you can search by the subject of a lesson and refine your search results.

Step 2

Select the lesson you want to use.

You have the option to start, save (and personalize) or share the lesson immediately. At the bottom, you can see which slides are in the lesson. So you can immediately see whether this lesson matches your search query.

Step 3

Click 'save' to save the lesson in your own lesson environment. A pop-up appears where you can save the lesson in a folder or in your own environment.

The lesson is now in your LessonUp environment, and you have the option to customize via the edit screen.

Don't want your lesson to appear publicly in the LessonUp library? Then check out this article on how to lock your lesson.
