Adding an image to your lesson in the new lesson editor

Updated over a week ago

Adding an image to your slide

In the new lesson editor we made sure to have the most commonly used components easily available. You can now add an image to your slide by clicking on ‘Image’ directly above your slide.

Step 1: Click on Image

In the lesson editor, you will see the basic components above your slide: text, image, hotspot and line. Click on image to add an image to your slide.

Copying an image from a website

  • Make sure you copy a royalty-free image, for example from a website like Freepik, Pixabay or iStock.

  • Right-click on the image you would like to use and select ‘Copy image’.

  • Go to your LessonUp lesson and paste the image by right-clicking on your slide and selecting ‘Paste image’. Alternatively, you can use the shortcut keys CTRL+V (Office365) or CMD+V (iOS).

Dragging an image from your files

You can also drag an image from your desktop or file folders straight into your lesson in the new lesson editor. The image will be uploaded and added to your lesson immediately.
