Besides creating lessons using Maia, you can also choose to only have interactive slides created. Below we explain to you step by step how to use Maia's help in creating interactive slides in LessonUp:
Step 1
Add a new lesson item and choose Quiz or Poll, then choose 'Ask Maia'.
Step 2
In this screen, you provide Maia information to create the best possible quiz questions or polls. We call such information 'prompts'. You can read more about writing a good prompt in this article.
Also add in which language you want to create the quiz question or poll and how many questions you want to be created.
Step 3
Once you have entered a solid prompt, click 'Generate'.
Step 4
Loading may take a while, please be patient.
Step 5
Yes! The results are ready.
🚨 OpenAI is still in development. This means there may be errors in the generated slides. Always check for accuracy before teaching or sharing the lesson.
Step 6
Choose which questions you want to use in your lesson by clicking the check mark next to the preferred questions and then click 'Generate'.
Step 7
Congratulations! You've added interactivity to your lesson using the help of Maia. The chosen slides are added to your lesson and you can now customize them to your liking.
