The 'Hotspot' component allows you to place interactive buttons anywhere in your slide. Hotspots allow you to add an extra layer of information.
Click '+ Component', and then 'Hotspot'.
For more advanced options to customise the hotspot, click the settings wheel in the box, then click the pencil.
In the 'Title' box, enter the text that will be visible when the hotspot is 'collapsed'.
In the 'Text' box, add the text that is visible the moment you click on the hotspot.
You can customise the appearance of this text, such as the colour.
The icon and colour of a hotspot are completely customisable.
If you prefer to use text instead of an icon for a hotspot, this is also possible. This can be useful if you want to use hotspots to create a roadmap in your slide. Just check the box 'Use text instead of icon'.
Clicking on the 'Extras' tab brings up a number of more options that allow you to determine the hotspot's 'behaviour'. For example, it is possible here to determine the position of the texts, have the text unfold at the start, give the title and text a white background and choose whether the hotspot should be movable during the lesson. These options can be set separately for each hotspot.
From the 'Media' tab, you have the option to link a hotspot to the image. If you then expand the hotspot, the image will appear.
