Make text appear with 'invisible' bullet points
Make text appear with 'invisible' bullet points

In this article, we demonstrate how to trick students a bit using invisible bullet points.

Updated over 11 months ago

Step 1

Insert the bullet points in your slide. This can be done through the standard layout or by using the Text component. In the example hereunder, we have opted for the latter, which provides a bit more flexibility.

Step 2

Choose the option to Show bullets one by one.

Step 3

Add a square by using the Symbol component.

Step 4

Change the colour of the symbol to match the background colour. In this case: white.

Step 5

Adjust the size and position of the symbol so that it precisely overlays one or more bullet points.

Step 6

When teaching the lesson, the bullet points will be invisible at the beginning, but then each word/phrase will start appearing, one by one.
