By disabling the devices function in the classroom, students can no longer participate with their smartphone/tablet/laptop, but interactivity in LessonUp remains possible. The interaction (quiz question/drag-and-drop question) can now be conducted on the central screen by you or a student, giving you more control over the lesson.

You can find the option to turn off devices at the bottom of the screen in presentation mode (via: Teach Class). Remove the checkmark next to 'Devices in the class.'

Now, participation with a smartphone/tablet/laptop is no longer possible.

Note: this function is now turned off for all upcoming lessons.

You will need to re-enable the checkbox if you want to use devices in the classroom again in a future lesson.
