Locking a lesson in LessonUp

A lesson you create is set to public by default. This means that the lesson is shared in our lesson library. For a variety of reasons, you may want to lock a lesson. A locked lesson is not visible in the LessonUp search environment.

Good to know: a shared lesson can no longer be shared with another teacher via a link.

Step 1

Go to the editor screen in LessonUp, where the lesson is open.

Step 2

Click on the options button in the top left hand corner.

Step 3

From the drop down menu, click on settings (or the cogwheel). You will automatically open up a yellow and grey 'lesson information' tab.

Step 4

In the top right hand corner of the yellow menu, a lock is now visible. Closing it will lock the lesson.

Note: this feature is only available if you have a paid licence.
