You can easily make a copy of your own lesson in LessonUp. This can be useful if you want to make a (slightly) modified version of a lesson.

To do this, go to My LessonUp and select the lesson. A grey column will appear on the right side with the option Copy. When you click this option, LessonUp will ask you where you want to make a copy. Finally, click Select this folder, and the copy is created.

Good to know: you do not need to make a copy of a lesson if you want to distribute the same lesson to another class. Each class gets its “own” copy by default.
