Provide additional explanation to an open-ended question without too much text in your slide by using a hotspot.

Updated over a year ago

Step 1

Add a hotspot, via the +Component button. You place this hotspot in the top left or right corner.

Step 2

Double-click on the hotspot and add the additional explanation in the 'Text' text box. This text will then only appear when the student clicks on hotspot.

Step 3

Optionally, you can give the hotspot a distinct colour and icon to get the student's attention.

The hotspot can now, during a shared lesson or test, be called up independently by students.

Of course, you can also give a spoken additional instruction. In that case, you choose an audio hotspot. You add this via the +Component button. You can then speak the text via your browser.

Good to know: you can also make the (audio) hotspot smaller if you wish.
