Why can't my colleagues open the tests I've shared with them?

When test sharing isn't working

Sharing materials, including tests, is one of the primary reasons behind LessonUp's creation. You can quickly provide your colleagues with valuable content through the shared workspace, search environment, or a link, and the same goes for tests.

However, there are certain conditions. To prevent students from accessing tests, this feature is disabled during the 30-day trial period. While you can create and administer tests on your own during this trial period, you cannot share them, nor can you access tests shared by other teachers. You will always need a Pro subscription or a school subscription for this. If you have such a subscription but still can't access a colleague's test, please check the following:

  • Are you logged into LessonUp?

  • Is the test not locked by your colleague?

If the above solutions don't work, copy the test link from your browser tab where you're logged into LessonUp.
