Hiding slides is a handy way to stay in control of what appears on the screen during your lesson. Do you have a slide meant for a specific class, or do you want to keep an extra explanation up your sleeve? You can easily hide the slide with just a few clicks.
How to hide a slide:
Go to your lesson in the lesson editor.
Look at the left side of the screen, where your slide thumbnails are stacked.
Left-click on the slide you want to hide.
Then click 'Skip when teaching' in the menu.
What happens next?
When you skip a slide, it stays right where it is in your lesson editor overview. This means you can still view or edit its content at any time.
The difference comes in teaching mode: as soon as you start the lesson and click through it for the class, the hidden slide is automatically skipped. This ensures students only see the parts that are relevant at that moment!
