To help the transition to the new lesson editor we have added a setting that allows you to always skip the step for choosing editors. With this setting turned on:
When creating new lessons, you will skip the step for choosing editors when creating new lessons
When saving a classic lesson in the library, the lesson will automatically be converted before it is saved to your library
When copying a classic lesson, the lesson will automatically be converted before it is copied
Exceptions
When copying multiple classic lessons at once, they will still be copied as classic lessons. We are working on hard on supporting the converting of multiple lessons at once.
When saving a classic lesson from a channel, you will still get the choice to save as a new or classic lesson. Once all required features have been added for channels, the setting will also apply for channel lessons.
To help users find this setting, we have introduced a step when copying lessons or saving lessons from the library. In this step, you can choose to Always convert lessons. When choosing this option, the setting to always use the new lesson editor is turned on.
When creating a new lesson from scratch, you also get the option to Always use this option when choosing the new lesson editor. This will also turn on this setting.
