Ranking

Updated this week

This article is about ranking for lessons created in the new lesson editor.

About Ranking

The Ranking feature lets you display a leaderboard of your students during a lesson. It highlights the top 10 students based on the number of correct answers they’ve given, creating an engaging and competitive moment in the classroom.

Students earn 1 point for each interactive question slide they answer correctly. In the case of a tie, students share the same rank and are displayed alphabetically.

The ranking is not shown automatically. You can at any point show the ranking by clicking the trophy button at the bottom of the screen.

Characteristics: motivation, engagement, classroom dynamics

  • Feature type: gamification

  • Difficulty: very easy

  • Teaching benefit: boosts student motivation and engagement

Read a step-by-step instruction:

  1. To show the ranking during your lesson, open the lesson in the lesson player.
At any moment, simply click the trophy button at the bottom of the screen.

A ranking screen will appear, showing:

  • The top 10 students

  • Their current score based on correct answers

The ranking updates automatically based on all interactive question slides students have answered up to that point.
