In LessonUp, you can easily convert an existing lesson from the classic lesson editor to the new lesson editor.
The new lesson editor offers many more possibilities to make your lessons engaging and interactive. Think of improved question types and new design options. Want to know exactly what the benefits are? Read more about the new lesson editor here.
How does converting work?
Converting your lesson is very simple:
Go to My LessonUp and open the overview of your lessons.
In the Lesson editor column, you can see whether each lesson was created with the Classic or the New editor.
Hover your mouse over the word Classic. A button labeled Upgrade will appear.
Click Upgrade.
LessonUp will automatically create a copy of your lesson in the new lesson editor.
Your original lesson in the classic editor will remain unchanged.
This means you will always have both versions available.
Important note
Not all existing lesson components from the classic lesson editor are fully supported in the new lesson editor yet. The overview below shows which functionalities are converted correctly and which you have to adjust after converting your lesson.
